Join us in celebrating Latinx Heritage Month (federally recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Month) from September 15th through October 15th as we honor the histories, cultures, experiences and contributions of Latinx people. All SJSU community members are welcome to participate in events throughout the month as we come together to honor, learn, connect, and celebrate.

This year’s theme, La Cultura Cura (Culture Heals), recognizes the ways culture grounds us, strengthens connections, and supports well-being. Through traditions, stories, music, art, food, and language, culture carries knowledge across generations and fosters belonging and care.

Throughout the month, you’ll find events that celebrate the diversity of Latinx cultures and create opportunities for learning, reflection, and community-building across SJSU.
